Climathon Courmayeur 2024

Back for the 2024 edition is Climathon Courmayeur, the 24-hour hackathon organised by the Giacomo Brodolini Foundation to develop innovative solutions to tackle climate change in the mountains, which will take place in Courmayeur on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 November 2024.

Once again this year, the appointment is at the Courmayeur Sport Center for two days of planning and sharing, with the aim of making a difference in the fight against climate change.

As in previous editions, the participants will be divided into small groups and will have 24 hours to come up with innovative ideas and solutions to tackle the area’s climate challenges, linked to three themes: waste, water and mobility.

The projects submitted will be assessed by a jury of experts, and the best projects will be awarded cash prizes offered by the initiative’s sponsors.

The event is part of the Courmayeur Climate Hub project, financed by the European Union through the NextGenerationEU fund within the framework of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (Mission 1 Component 3 I74H22000005) and coordinated by the Brodolini Foundation.
